Why this site exists

The crochet and amigurumi world is full of gorgeous projects and a fair amount of not-so-honest product hype. Too many “reviews” are thin pages wrapped around a buy button. This is not that. Every kit, pattern book, hook, and craft lamp here gets a real, opinionated breakdown – what is great, what is annoying, and who it is actually for.

How I review

• Real pros and cons. If a kit’s yarn is scratchy or the instructions are confusing, you will hear about it.
• Who it is for – and who it is not. The best pick for a total beginner is rarely the best for a seasoned maker, so I say which is which.
• No paid-for praise. Some links are affiliate links (see the Affiliate Disclosure), but a commission never changes a verdict.

The vibe
